Nonprofit Finance Fund Professional Development Program

Untitled Document

The Nonprofit Finance Fund (NFF) has launched a new initiative to strengthen the nation's leading arts and culture organizations. Through a grant from MetLife Foundation, NFF will provide members of TCG, Dance/USA and the League of American Orchestras with financial guidance, tools, training and support to address the challenges precipitated by the current economic downturn. The services offered will be customized based upon need and will include webinars, teleconferences, workshops and financial newsletters.

Programs from the NFF Professional Development Program

Webinars

One-hour webinars will be made available for instant download and will focus on key areas of financial concern including Basic Financial Literacy, Cash Flow Management, Managing Credit, Revenue and Expense Considerations and Practical Recession Planning. Webinars will not be "live"; they will be available for immediate and regular download and will include an on-demand Q&A component.

Teleconferences

NFF is offering topical telephone coaching for TCG member theatres. These bi-monthly calls will offer additional insight and advice on topics ranging from recession tips to cash flow management. Toipcs will build upon the subjects covered in the webinars.

Workshops

NFF workshops offer not-for-profits a wide range of services that help them stay in balance and in business. In our interactive workshops not-for-profits of various sectors, sizes and situations learn how management and financial decisions affect their mission and health.

Newsletters

NFF will publish electronic newsletters which will focus on key financial tips and tools. Subject matter will be generated in response to dominant themes identified through the webinars and teleconferences. NFF newsletters will be published four times between September 2009 and June 2010 and will be distributed via the TCG Bulletin.
