TCG’s reporting tool allows you to select specific search criteria and pull a customized report to learn more about demographics, staffing, programming, etc. field-wide. We also have an extensive searchable database of student study guides published by member theatres. Take advantage of these valuable resources and please fill out your survey today! The submission deadline has been extended to Friday, March 26th, 2010.
Education Centerpieces
Once a year the TCG Centerpiece, which offers in-depth analyses, case studies and resource tools on specific management issues, focuses on education. This year’s Education Centerpiece, Measuring the Essential: Education Survey 2008 begins with an introduction by Daniel Renner, director of education at Denver Center Theatre Company, who discusses the importance of developing sound assessment models for theatre education. Renner’s introduction leads into a summary of the results from the 2008 Nation’s Arts Report Card, followed by a series of recommendations for how best to communicate the significance of these results to your school and community leaders. As mentioned above, the publication concludes with tabulations from the 2008 TCG Education Survey exhibiting current trends in theatre education.
